REstart® is a program devoted to bringing two of the most basic needs, housing and employment, to economically disadvantaged individuals caught in the cycle of unemployment, homelessness, poverty, substance abuse, and domestic violence. REstart ® provides individuals with the ability to have a “second chance” in life; the chance to provide an individual or a family with a decent home that meets their needs for shelter, the chance to establish a career that builds a stable future, and a chance for individuals to live with the dignity that comes from hard work and professional accomplishments.
REstart® extends participant training, mentoring and job placement help. With hard work and dedication, this will lead to careers in property management. But, more than this, the REstart® Program offers its graduates restored faith, renewed confidence, and reclaimed self-respect. REstart® brings “Families Home Again.”
REstart’s Mission Statement is, “Empowering individuals through education and career opportunities in real estate management.”

I graduated from REstart® and began my internship and 6 months later I had my Real Estate license. My daughter and I had our life back. I can go on and on about the many hidden treasures in this amazing REstart® program.”
In 2016, I was given the opportunity to attend an IREM International COnference in San Diego. Jackie Diaz and I spoke about the REstart Program in front of the entire group at this conference (about 750 people). We were given a standing ovation. It was an incredible experience!
